- WordPress.com (basic is free, pay for upgrades, hosted on their server)
- WordPress.org (free, open-source, hosted on your server)

How do I install a template on my blog?
- Installing a template in Blogger.com
- For WordPress.com, you cannot install your own template unless you upgrade to a pay account. If you do upgrade, you can only customize the existing themes, you cannot install and template created outside the platform.
- Installing a template in WordPress.org (hosted on your server)
